A weekend guide for all of NEPA
Remember grabbing the free paper on Thursday to plan your weekend? We're bringing that back for today, covering everything, not just the bars.
What we do
Every week we round up what's happening across Luzerne and Lackawanna counties: live music and big shows, festivals and fairs, family and kids' events, church dinners and fundraisers, farmers markets, arts and theater, local sports and nightlife. Then we sort it all into nine areas so you see what's close to home first.
- Luzerne County: Back Mountain · Wilkes-Barre & Wyoming Valley · Pittston Area · Mountaintop & Crestwood · Hazleton Area
- Lackawanna County: Scranton · Abingtons · Mid & Upper Valley · North Pocono
Area lines are a starting point. If you think your town belongs somewhere else, tell us!
The Thursday email
One free email every Thursday morning with the weekend's best picks for all of NEPA, then a section for each area. Sign up here.
How it stays free
Local businesses sponsor the guide. Paid placements are always clearly labeled "Sponsored," and basic event listings are always free. Learn about sponsoring.
How we get listings
We collect details (dates, times, places, prices) from organizers, venues and public calendars, then write every description in our own words with a link to the original source. Things change, so please confirm with the organizer before you go. Found a mistake? Email [email protected] and we'll fix it fast.
